The moment the Thanksgiving dinner mess has been cleaned, our home is
filled with the magical sounds of Tchaikovsky. The children know this is the
sign-it is time to begin celebrating the Christmas season.
This Saturday, December 08, the Pacific Symphony Orchestra will perform
the Nutcracker for Kids. This wonderful concert is only 45 minutes with a brief
performance by the Festival Ballet Theater.
We’ve attended this concert multiple times and have never been let down.
Before or after the concert (depending on which show you attend), the children
will have an opportunity to view the instruments up front and meet the
musicians. The finale is a Christmas sing-a-long, which very well may be my
children’s favorite part or the show.
